An amazing experience that I’d do for a third time if I got the chance. Couldn’t have asked for a better group of lads and lasses to share the experience with. A huge thanks to Camps and the responsible adults that enjoyed the expedition as much as I did. Where we off next like?

– Sam Flinton

Came to Peru knowing that I would have ‘n’ amazing time but have been blown away by how incredible Peru actually is. Had such an awesome time with a great bunch of people, making some great friendships along the way. Thank you Camps International for everything.

An absolutely amazing experience. All of the students and the adults alike were amazing and the best people I could have asked to do this with. Can’t wait to see where camps is taking us next time and have another amazing experience in two years (sorry mum). Thank you to everyone who has helped me to get to Peru.

– Joe Harper (H2Joe)

Peru managed to blow my mind every single day through different taste experiences, cultural experiences and simply learning things about myself. Peru has helped me develop as a person and given me a much needed nudge of aspiration for my life after sixth form this year. Thank you Camps International, you have been fantastic.

– Mark Gibson

The image of Peru I had in my head was very different to what I saw in reality – the country blew my expectations out of the water! The first few weeks showed a Peru akin to a desert wasteland which was transformed overnight on the Salkantay trek to a tropical jungle. The history of the country combined with the beautiful scenery made it an unforgettable experience.

– Robert Ingram

I’ve had a cracking time in Peru on one unforgettable journey. Nothing failed to amaze me and couldn’t have picked a better bunch of people. Cheers Peru!

– Stephanie Bramley

– Mayble Blakeman

Over the last month I have had one of the best times of my life. I have learnt so much – the culture, the people, the value of hard work, and most importantly, about myself. I couldn’t have done it without out the amazing people in our group, the leaders and teachers, or the incredible in-country staff. Thank you so much!

– Rebekah Lally

This was the best experience ever. The friends and the memories will last a lifetime.
Thank you.

Peru was one of the most amazing experiences that I have been through. It was physically and mentally draining but also rewarding. It was the high of a lifetime. I will never experience something like it again. It will be treasured forever.

Peru was amazing due to the effect you can see from the project work completed.

It’s been an unforgettable and eyeopening month with some of the nicest, strangest and most caring people I’ve met. I hope to see everybody again in the future and I hope we will be able to relive the crazy memories together.

– Lucia

This has been an amazing trip that I will never forget! I’ve learnt a lot about myself and met lots of wonderful people along the way. It makes me very glad to think that I’ve made a difference to the people there and I hope to do similar things in the future.

– Eleanor

Peru has been amazing. I couldn’t have pictured a better expedition. I truly love everyone here. I do need a shower and a hairbrush though.

– Scarlett

Wow. What an amazing way to spend four weeks. The students have been fantastic, giving their absolute all to everything in what has been challenging conditions. It has been been eyeopening, but I can’t imagine doing it without my fellow teachers Jon and Liz and our two great leaders, Marc and Harry. Thanks all, it’s been a blast.

– Megan Brunt (Malton School)

Well where to start! Living among the community at Pinchollo, football with the maestros, students wearing traditional clothes, condors, Lake Titicaca, the amazing mountains of Camp Moray, the project work, the Salkantay Trek including reaching the pass at a breath-stealing 15000 feet, Machu Pichu? No, the most amazing thing by far was sharing four weeks with this amazing group of people and being part of a team that achieved so much, not only for themselves but for others. It has been an absolute blast and privilege. Unforgettable!

– Jon Steel (Malton School)

What a fantastic way to end my time at Ryedale School, spending four weeks with a great group of students, teachers and leaders. It has been a privilege to see the students develop as young adults and experience such a life changing journey. It’s been a pleasure to look after the students who haven’t been well and to make sure they got the care that they needed while still getting the most out of the experience. I really hope Malton and Ryedale do continue on to do another expedition in 2018.

– Liz McGlen (Ryedale School)

What a refreshing and invigorating expedition spent with a group of exceptional young people. They lead themselves from the off, supporting each other throughout the trip. Highlights included, pushing stones uphill, competitive games of volley ball and sublimes. Capped off by an exceptional week in the hills full of determination and tenacity. I do like being on my holidays.

– Harry (Camps Leader #1)

We live in uncertain times, but also a time when those aged under 25 are in the majority. Our team of inspiring, hard working, dedicated, determined, resilient, entertaining and generous young adults proved repeatedly that we all have grounds to hope for a better future. It’s been an honour and a privilege to be a part of your adventure Team Hanan Pacha – keep on aiming high guys, you’ve demonstrated countless times that the sky’s the limit!
